I am applying for a teaching assistant job and they want a personal statement to be about 1200-1400 words.
How do I do this:
Do I just write in paragraphs?
Use bullet points or is it acceptable to make a table for the whole thing with 2 columns in in - one side with the job criteria and then in the other column, write my experience (so I how match it)?

Write in paragraphs.

Use your table and bullet point method to work out what you want to say that hits the job description points, then write that up into a couple of paragraphs.

Address each point of the personal specification with infomation and examples of how you meet the spec. No bullet points, use paragraphs.

In paragraphs addressing each point (or as many as you can) of the job criteria.
