Anyone else working on a Mac? Help finding software needed.

I have been using Family Tree Maker on a PC until recently.

Have a new Apple Macbook Air, which i love very much, lol , but....FTM website says it is not compatible on Macs.

So, i have loads of info on Gedcom on a memory stick atm, what i can do with it? Stick with (a new version of) FTM on DH's PC, limiting when i can work on it?
or,
Find some software that works on the Mac and change everything over?
