PINCH is one of the UK's most prestigious, creative and successful furniture brands, created by Russell Pinch and Oona Bannon. Since 2004 we have been designing and distributing our award winning, contemporary furniture and lighting to a global audience.

We run our business between our Clapham North Studio and our Pimlico Road shop. Our Office Manager role will require a special person with multiple skills, a candidate with a genuine appetite to be helpful and a desire to help us build out and maintain a happy, efficient and positive working environment and relationships. They must be practical, numerically literate and accounts experienced, detail oriented, energetic and willing to get their hands dirty with proven strong judgement and keen prioritisation skills.

This role has three areas of focus; office management, entry level accounts payable finance administration and low level executive assistance support to the directors.

Office Management tasks:

  • Management of digital and physical collateral storage in the business
  • Day to day management of systems and IT
  • Management of landlord and maintenance schedules
  • Management of external IT support, energy and telecoms suppliers
  • Liaising with third party service providers i.e. health and safety, security, site manager, cleaners etc.
  • Management of day to day HR - contracts, holiday allocations, absence reporting, training
  • Overseeing any refurb to shop and studio
  • Ensuring PINCH spaces are well maintained and replenished
  • Leading and supporting team to ensure working environments are orderly and systemised
  • Keeping calendar up to date with PINCH birthdays and social events
  • Ordering office supplies
  • Ad hoc company project management


Account Assistant Key tasks:
  • Working alongside our Finance Manager (assume 2 of the 5 working days) to ensure our finance admin is well managed and well ordered.
  • Assist FM with monthly/weekly statement reconciliation from suppliers. Highlight and raise any queries with the correct teams within the business.
  • Assist in remittance prep to send the company director ready for payment run.
  • Where there is a query, proactively contacting the supplier or internal team - driving to resolution.
  • Generating, reporting and filing all of credit card transactions, ensuring receipts/invoices are obtained for all transactions, and are posted and coded correctly.
  • Covering the Financial Manager daily tasks when necessary.

Hours:
Ideally full time role (Office hours are 9-6pm Monday to Friday) but reduced hours/reduced days may also be considered for the right candidate
