Saw people tweeting about this. Want to read it but it's behind a paywall, and it's telling me I have no free articles left... Does anyone have free credits to copy and paste this article or summarise it, discuss it, or something? Whatever we are allowed to do here?

There have been bits and pieces of discussion about Srinivasan's book and some interviews (I don't recall which board).

Adopting her advice on problematising the nature of your desire and what drives it might be a useful thought experiment but, for me, it would likely shred any desire that you have.

It's about that book from the very fancy feminist -

'In her new book, “The Right to Sex: Feminism in the Twenty-First Century,” the philosopher Amia Srinivasan, who is quickly becoming one of the most high-profile feminist thinkers in the English-speaking world, describes teaching Oxford students about second-wave anti-porn activism. She assumes her students, for whom porn is ubiquitous, will “find the anti-porn position prudish and passé.” They do not. Rather, they’re in complete agreement with assertions that could come straight from Andrea Dworkin.'
