Lost weight, now need to tone

I’ve dropped from 10st 13.5lb to 9st 4.5lb in the last four months. I’m short, so I’m only just inside a healthy BMI, and am aiming to lose half a stone more. I’m 45. I’ve done it by walking loads and eating less, no more than that.

Whilst I have lost inches, I am left with a saggy tummy, very loose thighs (especially inner thighs) and more back fat than I’d like.

I’m not a member of a gym, and can’t access a swimming pool. But I do have hand weights (still in the box) and a big TV and space in the garden and inside to work in.

Any pointers gratefully received! Please bear in mind that I’ve never done exercise before and don’t speak the lingo!

I use Fiit & do a class most day. They have a good mix - weights, pilates, yoga, barre etc - so doesn’t get too boring.

Congratulations on your weight loss. I have recently lost weight by eating less and exercising. I hadn't exercised for 20 years! I would highly recommend Team Body Project workout videos on YouTube. If you just search Team Body Project beginner you'll find loads to choose from.

It’s fat and loose skin, more fat than loose skin I think though. I am still losing weight, but would like to tone at the same time. It’s coming off much more slowly now, so it’s probably going to take a few months to lose the last half stone.

Hiit classes work fast but what you describe sounds like it's loose skin as opposed to fat? Obv you'll know better tho. Running can be good too but I've just discovered lifting weights and just beginning but I love it as I'm not good at the cardio side of things
