Just after some advice from someone who may have some knowledge on it or has been through same process.
Will be starting to TTC #2 within the next few weeks, by this I just mean stop using contraception because I’m not going crackers (yet) tracking it all.
With DD I fell pregnant straight away, I had stopped exercising (x3 HIT workouts a week and running about 4K x3 times a week) just beforehand due to an injury but I was at my fittest I’d ever been. I didn’t continue with this whilst pregnant.
Fast forward 2.5 years, in the past 3 months I’ve just started running regularly again. Using C25K to get back into it and enjoying it. My BMI is on the high end of average at 24.2 (always has been on the high end, I am only 5ft) and body fat is 26.5%, lost quite a bit of body fat in the past few weeks.
A lot of advice I have read a bit online which states to continue with your exercise if your body is used to it when TTC, obviously the idea with C25K is that you build up each week so I am unsure if I should be continuing or not when we stop using contraception or if this may have an adverse affect. I am still trying to loose a few more lbs steadily and wondered too if this could affect chances of TTC.
Any words of wisdom/advice would be appreciated :)
