Online workout group for beginners?

Name changed as recently left a group that claimed to be beginner friendly but left me totally demoralised!

Have never been to the gym and would really rather do at home workouts. No interest in calorie controlled dieting or logging food etc. Just thought maybe there's a good online group to help motivate and inspire me with workouts? Preferably populated by mums who don't want to get skinny but rather just be a bit healthier? I would be prepared to pay if such a thing exists..

@Hazelnutlatteplease I used to do 30 day shred but I had a c-section 12 weeks ago and there are unfortunately too many sit up type exercises for me in it now... how does les mills compare in that sense? Thanks x

Les Mills online are really hot on checking/describing form, and the presents fun. Do the easy option to start with. Theres a bit of investment with equipment, you want a proper decent step like reebok or the less mills one and a decent barbell, i have Jordon studio set. Its a subscription option but well worth it, i find tge music really good for exercising.

Zumba strong DVD is fairly fab. No equipment, joint aware options, good for stomach muscles and strength.

30 day shred DVD is good for building up strength and fitness very quickly. But only if you are ok jumping and dont have joint issues. Good if you're short on time.

Fitness blender on youtube is free and has a bit of everything. You might need some cheap dumbells (pair 1kg , 2kg and 3kg) for some of the exercises) but theres tons equipment free. No music else it would be my one of choice

Hi!
I started at the beginning of the year (by myself so can’t advise on group support!)

I do a joe wicks beginners HIIT 2 or3 times a week- 2 young DD either watch with amusement/ join in/ climb on me for crunches.

Also started c25k, do 2 runs a week with my youngest dd in pram when her sister at nursery and 1 run a week without pram.

If that helps at all!

Although I am doing it to aid weight loss, mostly I don’t want to be the fat mum who can’t run around and play

I'd be wary as it's so easy to get your form wrong.

Could you do look into a few PT sessions to learn form, or perhaps some group PT sessions? Once you feel comfortable with this, perhaps look at Fitness Blender?
