Its quite a long read unless you skip to the questions which interest you, but he is very thorough and may give you some useful insights into self-publishing, agents & royalties. I also think he comes across as a genuinely nice guy too.

I'm a self published writer and am doing well enough now to be able to give up my day job as I'm earning three times as much from my book sales. I'd never ever have thought this possible as people tend to be so dispiriting about the prospects of self published writers but it's been amazing. :)

MmeGuillotine, how did you promote your work?

I have three self published books available on amazon, and hope that eventually I will start to see a decent return to enable me to continue to work from home and spend more time with the kids.

I have many more in the pipeline, but the problem is I struggle to get things noticed!
