Days 6 to 10 and leaving isolation

If you tested positive for Covid, did you still restrict your activities from Day 6 onwards and is there any medical evidence, based on the current variants, on how infectious you are in this period?

I'm on Day 7 with a very faint positive when I tested this morning. I had mild symptoms and now feel fine. Government guidance is that I can go out and about mixing with people from Day 6 onwards but all I've done so far is take a walk outdoors. I'm supposed to be going to a show tonight which has been booked for ages and the government advice is that it is absolutely fine for me to go but I'm still not sure.

yes it’s fine, one in 37 people currently have Covid and most aren’t testing themselves. Covid is everywhere, you’re hardly adding to the issue by going out on day 7
