What are you doing to keep spirits up?

Everything people have been looking forward to over the coming months has gone and many people have serious financial and health worries too.

We are advised not to get together with friends, which is something I often do to cheer up either them or me, whether that's as a group or just 1 2 1.

What can we all be doing for ourselves and others to stop decending into a pit of despair?

Hopefully we’ll still be allowed to go down to the beach if the weather improves. Other than that despair is rapidly creeping in.

Phone calls to friends and relations.
Ordered a load of photos to put into albums once work finally closes.
Bought some seeds to jolly up the garden.
Walking the dogs and enjoying the improved weather.

I've been looking forward to spring all bloody winter and particularly for the last four or five weeks, so to walk in the sunshine this afternoon, with the hawthorn coming into leaf and the birds singing, was really lovely.

will be doing some gardening. I went for a lovely run tonight through the woods. Also reading some really good books.
I work for the NHS so wont be having a lot of spare time but being out in nature, running and reading are what will keep my metal health good and help me through this.
