So I came off all the pain management drugs before TTC but was still able to take codeine and paracetamol. Apart from the odd rather crappy flare up things have actually been much better throughout pregnancy. Wfh helped me massively as carrying things was something that used to make my pain much worse.
I’m now 40 weeks + 5 and over the past 2 weeks my background level of pain has been creeping back up to pre pregnancy levels of almost constant. Did anyone else experience this at the end of pregnancy?
My pain is in my neck and head, I have damaged nerves from a car accident. My only guess is that the change in hormones are having something to do with it but my pain had never really been linked to periods or anything before.
I’m a bit worried about how manageable it’ll be immediately after the baby’s born.
