My daughter has mentioned wanting a squishmallow for Christmas but I’m a bit clueless!
Are the ones you can buy from aldi and Amazon etc the same as the original ones? What size is best? Any tips on where to buy from?
thanks!

Squishmallow are a specific brand but there are lots of similar ones. A bit like 'oodies'.

I know the entertainer sell the proper squishmallows cos that's where my kids have seen them.

Only time I’ve seen them is when I was in Costco and saw giant hello Kitty ones! It was enormous and I think dd would love it. Didn’t get it at the time and now I’m kicking myself as she has a birthday in November but I never start shopping until much closer to the time.

Home Bargains also seem to have the real ones.

As ODFOD2 said Squishmallow is the specific brand. They're definitely the "cool" brand to have, the eyes and the squishiness are the main differences. The Entertainer and Smyth's sell them, they also sell "squish a boos" by Ty. The Ty squish a boos are usually the type found in budget stores like b&m or home bargains. Aldi sold Squishmallows last year but this year they're selling their own brand. Different stores have exclusive characters and these usually cost more. My DC love them - can you tell?!

Thank you! What sizes do your kids prefer? And do they prefer the squishmallow ones?

It has to be an official squishmallow, the others are cheap copies and your child WILL know, they sell them in Smyths very reasonable a large is £24 we are looking for Lorenzo atm he’s a lobster apparently! The squishmallows all have name tags.

Sainsburys & Argos sell them - DD wanted the Flipmallows by Squishmallows for her birthday & found them in Sainsburys for £7 - on Amazon they were over £20!

They have the 6 inch ones and the flip ones in Asda and Tesco too.

The big ones are like comfy pillows.

If she's seen one she likes get it now because they sell out fast.

My DD is obsessed with them and they have to be the proper branded ones. Smyths have the best selection at the moment also check cosco near Christmas as they do great ones then.

B&m have the huge ones in (50cm) for 24.99, everywhere else they're £45-70 roughly. The off brand ones are pretty much the same tbh!

We have some massive ones from Costco but they're a bit irritating as they take up so much room! The 30cm ones are a nice size for hugging. 40cm are good for leaning on.

My eldest is hoping for a fluffy one this year. I must pin her down with preferences before they sell out!

My daughter has tons of them, the squishmallow brand are the better ones. We have tiny ones right up to the giant ones. My dd prefers the medium sized ones. I know lots of kids who use the huge ones as pillows

My dds love them too, smyths usually have different animals. They like the 30cm or 40 cm they are massive but very comfy as pillows too.

sorry I’m jumping on here too! Do Costco usually only do the massive ones? I don’t want a huge one in the house 😆
