A packet of paper!!

We went to a party on Christmas Eve and my boys (6&3) were given a big pack of different types of paper each. It has completely overshadowed every other present and has kept them busy since Christmas Day. I also have no space left to stick up more pictures. What was everyone else's biggest hit?

Yes, wading through Lego here too Grin. DS is thrilled.

Ds1 strategically saves his lego till ds2 is in bed so it won't be interfered with!

I think next year I'm going to get them some of those plastic drawers and fill them with craft/drawing bits.

My DCs got lots of lovely presents and they were joyfully excited about absolutely everything, but the biggest hit for DS (5) was a £3 lego mixel in his stocking! He built it straight away and didn't let it go for the whole day despite receiving lots of other lego. The other lego has been the focus of the last few days though.

Doll pushchair. Much lighter and more manoeuvrable than the wooden pram she had. She is reaching terrifying speeds around the dining table Wink

DS1: not sure, he's done a good job of playing with most of his new stuff
DS2: Dinosaur train 10 figure set; and the 3 trucks he got.

Least popular = books. But tough, they'll still get read at some point.

A packet of disney cars from the disney shop. My 15 month old has not stopped playing with them since xmas day and largely ignored everything else. Am sure he will play with it all in the end but he is currently obsessed with cars

Ds1 had a hudl which he hasn't put down since. I'm impressed with it myself actually.

They also had a new Mario Kart because theirs no longer works. That's been played with constantly too.

A small cuddly minion for DS, apparently it's more special because we bought it for him, rather than Father Christmas Grin

John Adams Hot Wires for DD, she has just built a radio receiver with it and is rightly feeling very proud of herself!

I got "cards against humanity" for my 14 year old - he absolutely loved them!

My youngest hasn't really played with anything - she just likes creative things so should have just stuck with that theme really!

A 6 month old puppy that friends DD had no time to look after properly.....she came to us the week before Xmas (thank God!!). Bought her for our DS4 (he is 17) - My Dad passed away in April but had promised him a pup for Xmas. My son is so delighted with her and she loves him to bits.
