has been for an interview/first meeting

she's coming back to spend a bit of time with ds1

what shall i do? back off and leave them to it?

(not yet formally offered job but expect to after today)

feeling optimistic - she's young, bright, friendly and seems to really like ds1 (feelings mutual it appears)

I think you have to back off so you can see how they will interact when you're not around as far as realistically possible.
