My dd has been going to CM for 2 weeks now. Initially I sent dd's food with her but CM prefers to give all mindees the same once they are off baby-food because easier. She is okay about dd being veggie and has bought some veggie-burgers from tescos. I can understand it is difficult to be cooking / heating up lots of different types of food at meal times.
DD is 12 months old.
But its the snacks she is giving that I'm a bit alarmed about. Last week she had those snacky garlic bread pieces in a bag (must be loaded with salt and saturated fat) and today I have just read in her book that she had chocolate buttons! I am shocked as I already told the CM I dont want dd having biscuits or cake or juice because of the sugar content.
I will have to talk to her tomorrow, but just wondered if she's giving her these things because the other older children have them and its easier than not giving to dd.
Also, will she think I am being really pernickety if I say I dont mind her having certain types of veggie frozen stuff but not linda mcartney sausages because of their mega salt content?
