I know how you feel, but I try to look on the positive side, I know people are reading it! And when I do get a comment I get super excited! Doesn't happen very often btw.

The best way to get comments, is to comment on other blogs. But it is time consuming and one thing that we all need is more time. Kkep posting, the more readers you have, the more likely you are get to get comments.

I love your blog, btw. The photo tutorials were great.

I find it helps to make your readers feel that they have something to contribute. So, if I have a minor problem I might ask for suggestions etc.

onlywantsone - am following you and have commented - love your photo tutorials - and yes, I have no comments on my blog yet, booo! To be fair, I've only been doing it for about a week and probably haven't said anything exciting...I'll get there eventually!

As MmeLindor said, the best way to get comments is to comment on other people's blogs! I make a habit of going tag surfing whenever I can on wordpress, and commenting on every blogpost I like. Most people then are curious and click on the link back to my blog and feel happy to comment back. It's like a little community but you have to put in the legwork!

Keep going, you haven't been blogging long, your visitors will grow and with that so will your comments!

As someone else said, you can aslo ask people to contribute their ideas or give suggetions.

I like comments, so I like ot give them too. We could all do with more comments!

I don't mind if I don't get comments. MmeLindor is right, I think a lot of bloggers have a reciprocal arrangement 'I comment on yours you comment on mine' kind of thing but I can't be faffed with it myself!

I don't receive any comments either, but I know there are lots viewing from Wordpress stats. I don't like the idea of commenting or following others in order to get them to follow you back - I like knowing that people are following my blog and actually reading it with genuine interest!

I had the thumbs up/down facility on my blog but have recently removed it because someone went through each one of my posts and gave it a thumbs down. Hopefully this means if someone genuinely doesn't like my blog they can comment and tell me why, rather than annoymously using playground tactics!
