9yr old agreesive and angry

My dd turned 9 in march she is becoming more and more angry and aggressive in the house. Not at school as yet. If there's something she isn't happy about even the smallest thing she will kick off. She wasn't like this before and has always been a sweet kid. I don't know what to do anymore. She will scream in our faces telling us (me and her little sister) to shut up and to go away. She will lash out sometimes. Not hard but it's like she can't help it. It's mainly shouting in her sisters face though. What can I do? I have tried talking calmly to her, telling her off and taking things off her.

What worked the most with my DDs was a behavior chart with clear rules and consequences for each misbehavior or disobedience. Earlier bedtime worked very well, removing privileges and screen time too. You need to be consistent, almost any bad behavior should be followed by bad consequences to make the chart work. That coupled with unconditional love and two way open communication.
