Hi all. My daughter is nearly 2 and getting her to eat is a nightmare. It's starting to get worse.
Today for example, she had about 6 spoons of cereal and half a scotch pancake for breakfast (which to be honest isnt that bad)
But when it comes to dinner and tea time even getting her to eat one spoon for fork full is a challenge. I did cheesy mash for dinner and she tasted a pea sized piece and then decided she was done.

I am fed up of this every single day. It feels like she is going to starve and I just dont no what to do.

Any advise would be really appreciated.

What does she say when you ask her why she does not eat it? does she not like it? or is she not able to confidently feed herself? i.e. will she eat more if you feed her?

She has never been a great eater. Its just seems to get worse. She doesnt have that many snacks either something at 9.30 as dinner is at 11.30 and then nothing untill tea time at 5pm.

My DS2 is 2 years and 2 months and is doing the same thing, but I've noticed that's he's actually teething his last molars and when he's teething he loses his appetite, normally he eats everything!!!

Maybe your little one is teething, or maybe she just want something new to eat? Do you give her the same thing to eat for breakfast, lunch and dinner every day? Maybe cut out snacks between meals?
