I am just looking for a bit of reassurance. My baby is no where near crawling and still hates being on his belly despite me persisting every day. He also isn’t great at standing up against items. He sits unattended at all times.
Also he sleeps a solid 12 hours at night however during the day goes down every 2 hours for a bout 20/30mins 4/5 times a day rather than just 2 naps.
Should this be happening? I am worried I am doing things wrong.
Thank you in advance

Yes he isn’t rolling over at all and just doesn’t seem interested. It’s all just a worry I don’t want to be doing anything wrong to cause him long term damage. In regards to his naps I think I was going on a suggestion from here to follow the 2hr rule and being at home all day it seems to work, perhaps when out and about I can stretch it out more. Thank you for you support

My twind are 9mths and not even sitting up alone yet. They all develop at their own rate. They also arent fussed about tummy time but have got better and will now roll about from front to back and back to front.

Lots of babies aren't crawling at 8 months so that's no cause for concern.

4/5 naps a day is a lot, although the overall amount of sleep seems to be about right. If it works for you/him then there's no problem really. If you'd rather he go longer between sleeps then you can push that a bit becuase he won't need to sleep every 2 hours, that's just habit/routine.
