LO is 14 months old. Ftm here so no idea if I should worry, but he does odd (to me) stuff a fair bit 😂 I don't see the other similar age kids around me do this sort of thing!
For example he demands that me or dad lie down on the floor, he'll point in a demanding way, and even try to push us down! Sometimes he gets whiny when we don't do it. Every time we walk into his room to play he wants us to do it, then demands we get back up by again pulling...
He also pushes our faces together to get us to kiss on the cheek, and he just watches!
He likes grabbing our hand/finger to point it to things like to read him a line of text in a book, over and over and over like 10x sometimes.
He recently started crawling around more - he never crawled much before, he could walk from 10 months so this is weird to see.
He is very easygoing when he knows what is coming but feels like he's kind of OCD about routines. I worry he might be autistic or something? Please don't laugh, there's a lot that I can't think of right now but he's just so DIFFERENT from the others from what I can see :(

It sounds ok to me, especially them wanting you to read the same thing over and over.

It’s too early to check for ASD yet but once he’s 16 months you can do the m-chat to see if he’s at risk.
