I need inspiration for girls and boys names that doesn't sound silly with the surname Green.

I seem to find a name I like then realise it doesn't go well with our surname, too E heavy or another colour like Violet Green. I'm probably overthinking every name now and driving myself mad. So any suggestions that also aren't majorly popular. Thanks X

Look at Farrow and Ball paints and either use it to discount (or as great suggestions) for a name 😈

Something that isn't also a noun or adjective

Craig Green looks and sounds like a space
Willow Green looks and sounds like a paint colour

Most names go well but like others have said I'd avoid nature names Heather Green, Daisy Green, and I'd avoid place names Lewis Green, Harris Green, Iona Green they sound like parks to me like Glasgow Green

I secretly love Violet Green 💜 but yes, maybe avoid that, and Scarlett and Oliver too.
Green is a strong surname, so I'd suggest you embrace it and consider three- and four-syllable names that pick up the consonants or the "ee" vowel.

Georgina Green
Virginia Green
Cecilia Green
Guinevere Green
Grenadine Green
Nerida Green
Neroli Green
Rosalind Green

Gabriel Green
Nathaniel Green
Montague Green
Montgomery Green
Reginald Green
Julian Green

I was going to suggest Tennyson but that would become "tennis on the green" 😏
Congrats and good luck.

I really want to suggest Skye. Or Ocean

Serious note... I think the majority of non nature names work fine with Colour surnames.

Also suggest no names ending in -Don if you want to avoid the word Dong, -Bon and -Mon also, don’t add a G to those.

So, suggestions, not too popular (outside top 500 for example)

Meredith
Vanessa
Daniella
Louisa
Lauren
Juliet
Hermione

Also no P or C names

P. Green or C. Green do not go well.

I’d also avoid names ending in -in like Robin G (Robbing) Dustin G (Dusting)

If you avoid nature names I think it'll be fine. (Nature names will make the child sounds li a paint colour)

So Blossom Green or River Green is a no

Eleanore Green or James Green would be fine
