I like Blake for a boy, and DH likes Jace but we are open to sugestions.

For a girly we both like Sasha but again more ideas would be nice. Go on... have some fun and tell what you think goes nicely with my Evan and Holly!

My DS is called Blake and despite the carrington/blakes7 remarks which i can live with I think its a fab name.
Sasha is also a lovely name, if DS had been a girl we would have had Summer.

Dh is a Jason usually known as Jas (pronounded Jace), so if your dh likes the sound of "Jace" you could choose Jason. Not sure it goes that well with Evan and Holly though. What about Robert or Martin or James - in fact lots of names would work well

OH i know a lovely little Brannon

Owen would go well with Evan
or maybe Ethan/Nathan

My sister has a Holly and an Evan!!!

How bizarre!
Sadly Evan got meningitis when he was ten days old, and is now quite severely autistic

Her other child is a Brennan

3andnomore · 09/02/2008 22:43

goodness....erm, yeah, Hethrine, is kind of an unusual oldfashioned sounding name, Hettie sounds definitely better compared to that

Report
devonsmummy · 09/02/2008 22:36

she was a Hethrine! much better as Hettie me thinks

Report
3andnomore · 09/02/2008 22:32

but was she really a Harriet, just called Hettie?

Darcie looks better like that, but personaly I love it as Darcy...or D'arcy...but that might would be constriued as chavvie, lol!

God, am I glad that I don't really have to think for Babynames for us anymore...lol...it's a tough game

Oh not for ages due July 24th!
I am just really excited and happy to be having this baby as I thought I'd lose it when I had to go in with my COPD last month. Was really scared as I had got really excited already and Holly is 6 so there was a big gap. We had tried for another when she was about 2 but it didn't really happen and so we never expected it and it was such a great suprise!

Flynn isn't my cup of tea at all, it sounds like a Fin that has gone wrong.

Actually I do love Flynn! Hmm, we seem to ave gone from aving ardly any name ideas to noy being able to decide! Thanks so much for all your replies... how will we ever choose now

So for a boy we now like: Lewis, Flynn, Blake still in the running.

For a girl we like: Lara, Lola, Sasha, Matilda.

Ellen is a great name but sadly a no go with Evan - it would be a tongue twister!
