Thought I’d ask about this name on this thread in addition to my last thread. I’ve got this name stuck in my mind but is it too old fashioned? What are your thoughts on this name?

What middle names would you pair with it?

Angeline is fine - unusual but not unheard of. It sounds quite French to me though for some reason (more than similar Angelina), if that matters? But I think it's perfectly useable (as long as you don't mind nn Angie, as I think that might be hard to avoid - unless you insist on Annie from Day1?)

I’m not personally keen but I have a bit of an aversion to -ine ending names in general as they sound chemically to me. I’d think it was perfectly fine on someone else and it’s classier / not as frilly / over the top as Angelina.

I think that's absolutely doable. The Angel I knew was sweet woman but she had clearly gone for an image (big fake boobies, huge lash extension etc) and using the nn seemed to be a part of that.

Angeline is pretty. It's not too frilly and I like that it doesn't end in -a, -ia or -ie. If you make sure to insist on Angeline/Annie I doubt people will call her Angel.

@HungLikeAPeg That also puts me off! Really dislike the nn angel, would prefer Annie instead!

It doesn't feel old fashioned (to me, I'm 28) I also like Angela and Angelica the only thing that puts me off is I knew a woman called Angelina and she went by Angel 🥴

Good I think. A bit fussy but reminds me of Angelina Jolie but a bit different.
