Hashimotos and trying to conceive - anyone been successful

As the title suggests..

Anyone with hashimoto's been successful in ttc and had you suffered any miscarriages?

If so did you do anything differently etc?

Hi all, thanks for this.

My last blood test showed TSH at 0.66...didnt get any T4 results annoyingly.

I had a missed miscarriage in Sept last year and have since had 2 chemical pregnancies.

Fingers crossed I'm luckier next time x

It took me nearly a year to conceive DC1. When he was about 4 months old, I was diagnosed with Hashimotos.

I then got pregnant 3 more times, each time within the first or second month of trying. Two of those pregnancies ended in MC although I have no reason to think that had anything to do with Hashimotos.

The third pregnancy ended in a healthy DC2. I was monitored very closely throughout (I’m not in the UK and had immediate access to an endocrinologist who sat in the office next to my OB/GYN. My TsH levels were constantly changing throughout, and by the third trimester, I was taking 275mg of thyroxine a day.

I did after 2 years trying naturally. I now have a 1 year old DD. I increased my iron and tracked my ovulation. I'm on 50mg levothyroxine daily atm and was 27 when I conceives my daughter. I'd recommend speaking to your gp and getting your thyroid levels tested regularly (when this coronovirus stuff is all over)

i had difficulty conceiving before I was diagnosed. I was actually only diagnosed after getting pregnant with no2 DD after a miserable couple of years with Dd1. I used an ovulation checker in the end to tell me when I was ovulating. This worked.
