High resting heart rate

Hi I'm having issues with a fast heart beat which has been picked up by the hospital twice. They told me to discuss with gp as my thyroid meds could be too high but I'm now on a reduced amount but I'm still having the same issue. I plan to go to doctor again tomorrow as I'm getting very anxious about it which in turn sends it higher still but its about 110bpm ish. I'm 28 weeks anyone else having similar or had similar issues with heart rate?

Are you under a consultant for your thyroid problem? Have you had TFTs done?

Thank you Smile
No she had no problems with her heart rate at all during pregnancy or labour- they said my heart rate could make hers faster but it never did. They monitored her heart rate with a clip on her head while I was in labour and she was fine.
Good luck !!

I had exactly this. They picked up on it when I went in for reduced movements, my heart rate was 115bpm resting on average. They did a 24 hour heart monitor, tested thyroid etc but no explanation for it so it wasn't treated.
When I gave birth last week, it shot up to 140bpm after delivery, but has now gone back down to a normal heart rate about 80bpm. It was just high during pregnancy which can happen apparently as your blood volume increases.
