to take phentermine to manage ADD eating?

I’m looking for people’s experiences with phentermine. I have ADD but not using meds at this point.
I used phentermine in the past and lost weight. It gave me the space to make good choices, develop better habits, and lock start weight loss.
I felt fine on it (energetic and focused) and although I was tempted to stay on it, I stopped after 12 weeks and never went back. That was about 20 years ago.
Over the past three years I have ballooned. Menopause and ADD, as well as covid changes to my lifestyle, have led to awful habits. So I’m contemplating going on it again, but the side effects seem more scary than they did 20 years ago.

If you’ve used phentermine, how was it? What’s the good and bad?

By the way - yes I do know, exercise and calorie deficit. Low carb. Veggies. Cardio and weights. This post isn’t about those things, which I promise I do understand and implement as much as possible. This post is about ADD and phentermine, ideally if there is anyone out there with a similar situation. Thanks all.
