I’ve name changed for this. I am due in hospital tomorrow for a colposcopy because of periods being all over the place. Just decided to do a pregnancy test just to be on the safe side.
DH and I were told earlier this year it was very unlikely we could conceive due to my age and low AMH levels.
Was not expecting this. I’m not going nuts am I? Is this positive? Is there any way it could be wrong?
DH is at work & I can’t talk to him for a couple of hours. Am shaking.

What happy, happy news - particularly given your circumstances. Please don't worry about the martini/wine. I conceived DS1 when we weren't even trying and he was definitely a surprise. I undoubtedly drank between conception and pregnancy test and he's turned out absolutely fine

This is exactly what happened to me I was due for my smear to see why I was spotting very irregular periods they told me to take a pregnancy test to confirm negative as I was once again 11 days late so I could book it in and it came up positive straight away!
I was so stunned as I also got told after 4 years ttc it probably wasn't going to happen without medical intervention, my DD is now 4 months old!
