Mcdonalds breakfast

Aibu that you can't beat a McDonald's breakfast? Especially after a 13 hour night shift when you snuggle in bed and it's frosty and cold outside on a winters morning.
I know they are terribly unhealthy but a sausage and egg mcmuffin.. Yum!!
Aibu?

@Lovemusic33 my “never gad a McDonald’s” isn’t down to snobbery. My nearest establishment is 22 mikes away. Highly unlikely I’m ever gonna pop there to get one.

We don’t all live near one.

@daimbarsatemydogsbone hi I don’t have an organic special farm shop cafe near me what should I do? Some of us live in scary places where people eat McDonalds and don’t have farmz

@DoctorSnortles

I love a McDonald’s breakfast.

Also love all the wanky ‘I only eat home-knitted alfalfa sprouts and McDonald’s ARE THE DEVIL’ posts on this thread.

I get a proper breakfast from the Farm Shop - with actual bacon and sausages, mushrooms etc.

McDonald's "breakfast" isn't.

I hate Mcdonalds, they are they most unethical business ever and there food is pretty much artificial processed poison

The most unethical ever, eh? I’m sure the ones using modern day slavery and exploitation might be a little more unethical than a company that follows U.K. employment law. If their food was poison they wouldn’t be in business any more.

Burgers. Fries. Coffee. Breakfasts. Yes, it's sometimes convenient and yes, it's always cheap, but all of it can be beaten by much better alternatives.

This is probably true not only of all but the highest end of restaurants, but also of the food you cook at home.,

When I arrive at Heathrow the first thing I do is head to the 24 hour MacDs nearby and have two of their bacon rolls - a real treat esp if have been in the USA 😂

I feel sorry for those who have not tried a McDonald’s breakfast because their snobbery won’t allow. I like to try everything at least once wether it’s good or bad for me. Anyway….it’s just bacon or sausage, egg in some bread…pretty sure it’s not going to kill anyone 🤔. I’m not keen on McDonald’s burgers 🤢 but breakfast is a different story. I only really get one when we are travelling somewhere early, usually when we on route to a holiday or weekend away.

@OnTheBoardwalk

I remember after suffering from bad cold I suddenly fear well and NEEDED a Mc D breakfast.

I googled the opening time for breakfast then headed out at 6.35 to get one

I remember thinking if something bad had happened to me on that trip my family would have been thinking for years to come what I was doing and where I was going at that time in the morning

😂😂😂😂

Haha I had much the same thought process when my baby son was very sick and the gp sent us onto the hospital. I wanted to stop for free of but the thought that he might die en route and the inquest would record the fact I'd stopped for a takeaway made me reconsider. He didn't die and I spent hours at the hospital starving 😂

@limitedperiodonly Wow, a random stranger on the internet called me a liar. I can confirm I woke up this morning and didn't loose a second of sleep over that.

McDonalds breakfast features in many memories - the payday treat when I earned only enough to eat 5 days a week, the Sunday lie in with papers when in our early 20s we lived in a block 2mins from a McDs, and now my kids consider it a treat 😂

Glitteryone · 29/11/2021 23:34

I know someone who works in McDs and they said the folded egg (wraps, bagels) are poured from a bottle.

The round eggs that come in the muffins are whole/fresh

Ooh yes. Disgustingly good. Sausage and egg mcmuffin and 2 hash browns and a latte. So shit it's good!

Report
fratellia · 29/11/2021 22:10

Yep I used to work there and the eggs are indeed cracked into rings and cooked fresh.
Curious how people assumed they were done?

This is from a McDonald's advert on literally 5 seconds ago for breakfast showing them cracking the egg into the rings.

There is nothing better after a long night shift in winter than a McDonald's breakfast on the way home and getting into bed when everyone else is getting up
Sausage and egg McMuffin with two hash browns please

For those missing the breakfast wraps, Tim Hortons do them. They also do a big version of them. Their large coffee is basically a bucket.

@HelloBambinos

I did a 13 hour shift at the hospital yesterday and thoroughly enjoyed shipping the kids and husband off to school and work this morning for my day off with a lovely egg and cheese mcmuffin, hash brown and cappuccino.. I agree.. The McDonald's breakfast is definitely one of my favourites.

You deserve a big breakfast and a sausage McMuffin!

I only like McD's breakfast when I'm in America. Can't beat a sausage biscuit with egg or the beauty that is a McGriddle 🤤
