Hi,
Am looking into my options for our first newborn (when they arrive) and what help we can afford.

We have a 2 rooms house near the centre of London and I want to hire a live-in nanny to be part of our family and help us with our first baby. Because the house is only 2 rooms I want to check if sharing the room with the baby during working days and they can stay out during weekends (visiting their family/partner/friends) is common or not.

We have a guest toilet that they can use it but for taking showers and baths they will need to use our bathroom. We have a cleaner that comes regularly so the house (especially the bathroom) is tidy most of the time.

Am not expecting the nanny to take care of the baby at night if the baby woke up in the middle of the night. So I will get up and get the baby out of the room and take care of this. Also if the baby is sick for a few days or something I can keep them in my room.

is this something acceptable with some nannies and common?

I know that having a baby cry in the middle of the night will be disturbing for them but I was hoping that we can balance this out with other stuff we can offer. For example,
- We expect the nanny to start the working hours around 9/10 am to 7 pm (so this is between 9 to 10 hours a day) with babysitting 2/3 times during working days for maybe a couple of extra hours.
- They can leave on Friday evening and spend the weekend with their loved ones, friends and family.
- I expect the nanny to have 28 days leave + bank holidays.
- We may be able to pay extra bounce at the end of each year.
- Our family also travel a lot so I would expect the nanny to come with us (if they can) and I will pay for the accommodation and travel cost. And same working hours will be applied during travel or if they wish we can make out another schedule so they can have fun as well during the travel.

So my question
- Is this a reasonable offer that some nannies would be interested in or am I going to have a hard time finding one?
- What would be the range for the salary with these conditions and expectations?
- If these are unreasonable conditions could someone let me know the other options for full-time child care.
