Sun sense factor 50 and ultrasun for kids

Both seem to result in my childrens skin getting little raised eczema like dots all over. I know factor 50 cant be natural but any recommended creams for children that are "gentle"

La Roche Posay is very gentle.
Parasol is excellent but I’m not sure if you can get it outside of Ireland.

Oh my ds is covered in those dots and also has a rash on his arm. I’d put it down to heat rash, didn’t even think it might be the suncream. He is prone to eczema.

We use the child's farm one on DS, DN gets quite bad eczema and sun cream aggravates it quite badly and often brings out rashes. They came to us last week and had forgotten to pack sun cream so used DSs and no reaction no rash. DM who has very sensitive skin uses it on herself too.
I prefer something that smells like holidays for me.....

I use Ultrasun sensitive and it’s great.

We only use boots soltan 8 hours cream.
It’s not especially gentle but only putting on one dose a day means their skin can breathe. When nursery used to put repeated layers on they would react badly.

I like Jason sun cream. Smells good and my pale eczema prone child doesn’t seem to react.

DS has sensitive skin and routinely gets heat rashes that requires antihistamine. We use Calypso factor 50 once a day and he's never had a problem with it It was recommended to us and that's all we buy now.

Mustela Very High Protection SPF 50+ is the only one I’ve found that doesn’t give my child a rash.

I have reacted badly to sun cream in the past. The only one I use myself is Boots Soltan. I use the kids Soltan 8 hour factor 50 on my kids and they've been OK with it.

Eldest DC has always suffered from eczema. We’ve tried loads of expensive ones, but the Aldi factor 50 works best.

Another vote for the Child’s Farm one. My son has bad eczema and is prone to heat rash and reacts badly to other sun creams. The roll on one is really easy to apply too.

We’ve always used Soltan (Boots) factor 50 on our toddler - no bad reactions so far (that we know of).

We tried all the pricey ones but nothing worked so we spoke to our GP who suggested a spray instead of a cream. In the end £5 nivea spray is the best.

I use ultra sun it's great but no sun cream stops me from getting a heat rash (maybe it's that?) I find washing at the start and end of the day with mild antibacterial wash helps and wearing nothing heavy with oils that block pores and no waterproof sunscreen, just a light get high factor sun cream and keeping cool indoors where I can.

We have tried loads as have DD who reacts to sun cream and gets eczema like rash with it and DS who breaks out on his face (heat rash?)

Ultrasun is great but expensive. We normally buy the huge one on special offer and lasts ages. However using Altruist at the moment on body and [Etude] Sunprise Mild Airy Finish spf 50 on face. I am using the Etude daily it's lovely.

Nivea and banana boat work well for my boy.

Cien brings him up in the same rash. I think it's too thick, blocked pores can't sweat

Child’s farm gave my son rashes and he doesn’t have sensitive skin at all. I also worked at a nursery where it was banned due to it not being long lasting enough.

We use Piz Buin ‘allergy’ factor 50 spray on my daughter, who has sensitive skin and gets eczema and rashes from some sun creams. It works well for her and she likes the feel of it (the spray version rubs in easily).

La Roche Posay the spray factor 50 is great, pricey but great for irritated skin. Between an ultra sensitive me, a picky kid and another pale kid, I can trust this. Used to use Banana Boat dry powder when they were little- this can be found in Quality Save and the like.

Also,a heat rash can come and go.
