I'm considering it at the moment and reluctantly coming to the conclusion that I'm probably not enough of a cow to do that to a couple of octagenarians who get on my nerves and make me feel shit about myself every time I see them. As indeed they have throughout my entire life.

The Op is clearly asking for opinions on a very popular subject that many people have issues with e.g some people go no contact with their parents because their parents are toxic and they where brought up in a toxic environment or some people went NC because the parents had substance issues etc etc honestly what stupid replies!! i'm not a journalist i am having a hard time with my family and while i'm not going nc right now it is a huge possibility for the future but i feel guilty for doing it for the reason i want to, and so i was wondering what other people's reasons were. of course if you don't want to respond you don't have to and i'm not trying to force anyone into it !
