they act like they own the place!!!!
really annoys me, try not to let it, but it does!

i farking love MNet Especially the rude fuckers who think they own the place!! I would never even begin to think they would allow me into that inner circle of rude bitches, but come on girls, they are the reason half of us log on. Its like stirring up a fight in the school playground then handing round the popcorn.

Also, ive had loads of good advice and support from the good people of MNet, interestingly people who i have been having real slanging matches with on some thread have said so many kind things to me when it really mattered.

This is a fairly anomnymous forum, where we get to air views we may ordinarily keep to ourselves. I think that promotes honesty and frankness which is rerefreshing. Although, to be perfectly honest, the standard of some of your english is appalling!!! Mine? Well i know mine i shit

oh stop. we can all do little sad faces. ifyou cant handle a little honest reaction to your own aggression - online fgs, not even in rl - then... then... then you need help and i feel sorry for you.

it is not advisable to make general grumbling comments about other mners without specifying who or what youre talking about. this thread is your likely reaction. fyi.

and please dont do that 'oh im so hurt ill never bother you all again' crap. post or dont post.

ps, nobody will even remember this thread about 5 minutes after they read/posted on it, (personally, i have a memory like a sieve) so you neednt feel paranoid or got at either.

enjoy mn. thats what its there for.

I have summed MN up like this...
Everyone has to behave themselves and keep most opinions to themselves in our rl's. MN is a way to break free and say whatever comes to mind without people kicking the sh@t out of you.
How many times have you wanted to say something but knew you shouldn't, so you just kept quiet? On MN you can get it all out. Nothing wrong with that, it's cathartic!!

So if you are not up for it, then you should not post.

ahhhhhhhhh, all becomes clear now.

agree with lapin. op was rude to start offending thread in first place, then rude all over again to start this one. rude again not to explain reason... and rude on the few occasions she posted on this thread.

and considering this thread is about rudeness, that makes it hypocritical too.

not such shining behaviour really.

Mrs John, yes I was trying to sell a dress, AND for your info had already put it on for sale, however some of the threads on style are needing special outfits so I thought it might be worth a try ( some requests for outfits for weddings etc)
I WASN'T pulling a fast one at all, but yes I did object to the vehement reply, I may have done wrong , just don't think there was a need to be so narky about it!
By the way do you ever have any clothes in your wardrobe with labels still on, whoops ,.....should I put this on a different thread

OP, you were told your thread belonged elsewhere because you were trying to sell something....therefore the thread belonged in 'For Sale'. Of which I'm sure you're fully aware - you were just trying to pull a fast one.

you know what REALLY pisses me off!!! People being called trolls

Not nice branding someone an ugly bastard with bright pink hair that can either swing off ya keychain or get a pencil stuck up yer arse!

I prefer to know exactly where I stand, tbh! What I hate, is those who namechange to bitch, so they can go back to chatting with the very people they've maliciously insulted, with no repercussions. That imo, is far far worse than someone who flatly tells you when you're being a twat!

  • I know that's NOT what the op's done, this isn't about the op (hi there oh sensitive OP, btw, if you do stick around, your hide'll thicken to that of a rhino in 6 weeks flat!) but it is on the subject of rudeness!!

To OP...mumsnet, dispite being a more middle class thing, apparently, is one of the most , erm, outspoken forum I have come across...and tbh, it's the charm of it So rudeness is there, of course...but well, don't let it dishearten you!
