AIBU?

Monthly treat box - Ideas please!

I would like to treat myself to a monthly box of surprise goodies and would love you to suggest which one I should get.

I don’t care if it’s makeup, kawaii, food items or craft things. I just want a little surprise each month. So I’m open to any suggestions, except for alcohol.

So AIBU to ask you what you recommend if you get a monthly treat box?

(Well yes, I probably am, but this place gets the most traffic)

:) am I allowed to tell you about the one I run? If so I'll post and if not I won't - don't want to get kicked off 😂

Degustabox is a good food one. I’ve just cancelled Birchbox because I was tired of the same old stuff.

@undercoveraessedai Sure, as long as it is not an MLM.

I got tired of the same stuff in Birchbox. Glossybox is great, once a month I look forward to new products and trying them out/little bit of pamper time. I've seen a monthly pyjama box which i thought I'd love as I love new pjs and being cosy but I'm actually quite fussy when it comes to size of them/material etc plus I don't think I could justify 12 new pyjama sets a year 😂

@ButtWormHole ooh I just googled that and it looks interesting! The only downside would be the kids wanting to share Smile

I get vegan kind food monthly and vegan kind beauty (make up and toiletries) every 2 months and love them. I'm not vegan but it's nice to discover new things that dont harm animals.

@canyouseethesea I’m laughing at the idea of 12 new pyjama sets a year! I’d need more storage for a start.

I’ll look at the glossy box, thanks.

Thanks for the suggestions.

In current first place are Glossybox and Papergang.

They both look really good, in totally different ways!

I have been getting Glossybox for a few months and I love it! Great mix of skin care, make up and face masks :)

I really like craftpod and little box of crochet, have had both of them.
Also bloom and wild do a monthly subscription of flowers which I've just ordered. Have never used them before but friends have said flowers last a long time.

I used to get one called mypurrfect giftbox. Full of cat related things. I love things anythings with a cat on it. I had all sorts of things purses, mugs, umbrella, t shirt, prints ect. You can choose the an option to get a monthly gift for your cat too. I enjoyed it. But after a while it was just more stuff I didn't use building up.

I also used to get a craft one but I can't remember the name of it.

Kawai is 'cute'. DD loves it. Basically Japanese adorable stuff.

I've cancelled glossybox. Too many make up products that dont suit my skin tone.

Sugar and Vice have just started doing a subscription for a necklace/brooch every month. They do beautiful acrylic jewellery. I’m considering signing up - they’re a brand I love and I want to support them at the moment. www.patreon.com/sugarandvice

I used to have treatbox but they've recently changed the style and it's not my thing anymore so I've just cancelled. But do have a look.
I've also had taffymail before which is American sweets. Fairyloot looks good if you like young adult fiction novels.

Currently I've been getting handdyed yarn from spectrum fibre which is very much a luxury. Also the monthly subscription box from the geeky stitching co which is cross stitch but good for beginners

I just ordered a subscription for the Goodness Project as a gift - vegetarian and vegan snacks/products. It looks great, though the recipient hasn't received the first one yet so can't attest to the quality as yet!
