NC as this may be outing.<br>DD is 3 nearly 4. We called DD a name with more than one correct spelling (so we haven't just made up a name!!) MIL made it clear from the beginning that she didn't like the spelling we used, and thinks it's wrong. <br><br>Every time we see her, she brings it up, time after time after time. Eventually I told DH, its his mother, me trying to explain to her clearly isn't working, he needs to grow a backbone and tell her to stop mentioning it.<br>He had a chat with her but doesn't seem to have achieved anything. If anything, since then it's been worse.<br><br>MIL's latest trick is to give DD loads of presents (stuff we don't need, stuff we've already told her that we've bought for DD, she goes and buys the expensive version and then tells us we can take our one back now<img border="0" src="/emo/te/9.gif" alt="hmm" data-emoticon="hmm">) and addresses it all to DD (her spelling)<br><br>Saw her on Sunday, MIL took loads of photos of DD which I'm fine with, as long as they don't go on social media (she knows this) <br>Well on Sunday evening, I check Facebook to find MIL has posted a load of pictures of DD, with a caption about how much she loves her granddaughter (her spelling again!!!!)<br>This is starting to get on my nerves now, there's nothing else we can do is there?
