A little Friday fun............. what's your best revenge story?! Either on a partner or friend etc.

I've never actually "got revenge" on someone as I have a guilty conscience and I know I'd feel terrible afterwards!!! But always found other people's stories funny/interesting/imaginative!

I once got my revenge on a lazy journalist by not taking their fishing first post seriously.

Seline · 15/02/2019 08:38

An ex sent a nude photo of me to his mates. I found photos of him engaging in petty criminality and sent them individually to his family.

I felt a bit mean but he shouldn't have done it.

PBo83 · 15/02/2019 08:38

Revenge is a waste of time and energy that could be used for self-improvement (which, ultimately, is the best form of revenge)

Forgiveness gives more satisfaction. And less Daily Mail bait.

Seline · 15/02/2019 08:41

What's the problem even if it is a journalist? Never understood why that irritates people. Confused

OrangeJuiceandLemonade · 15/02/2019 08:55

Nah. These threads always go wrong.

LilaJude · 15/02/2019 09:00

Don’t you feel a bit taken advantage of when a journo disingenuously pretends to just be looking for a chat when they’re actually mining you for content?

Besides, if I thought I was making life even slightly easier from someone working for the Daily Heil I would be horrified.

Not really it's a public forum so I just take it as a given that it's not private.

Agree about the Fail though lol Grin

Kittykat93 · 15/02/2019 09:08

So you want everyone to tell revenge stories...but don't have any of your own Hmmok then

LaBelleSausage · 15/02/2019 09:16

The best revenge is a life well lived

Boyfriend dumped me for another woman. "At least you're not pregnant LOL" was the bastard's parting shot. Scroll forward a couple of years and I'm in town with my 2 year old nephew in his buggy. Who do I bump into? Yep, Mr Bastard. Mr B says hi to me, then looks down at bubba, then back at me with a questioning look, just as bubba starts crying and calling for his Mummy. "Must dash!" says I, leaving Mr B staring gob open after me... couple of hours later exMIL texts me to ask about her 'grandson' and can she arrange to see him.

This may or may not have happened, but was good fun plotting it. WinkHaloGrin

Lighten the hell up lol or if you don't want to join in a lighthearted post then find another one!!! I never understood why people take time out of their days to post something they're not interested in!

My best revenge story was stealing some cocaine from an ex. At another ex's wedding.

Huge backstory. Not funny or legal but definitely my best revenge Grin

I was married to a soldier who, it turned out, was cheating on me. The most vindictive thing I could think of doing was cheese grater-ing all his Army shoes/boots knowing that he would have to spend hours and hours to get them back into an acceptable state for work.

toomanygreys · 15/02/2019 09:41

A distant relative turned up at my grandmas funeral in 2012 and told my sister who organised the funeral "to be a good girl and serve the tea"

Then approached me I thought to greet me as I hadn't seen her since I was a child and instead said "I heard you have four children well don't have anymore dear" and walked off.

Last year I had a nosey at her Facebook and saw she had self published a book and was asking for reviews to be left so I wrote a review basically saying "not my cup of tea and if I was you I wouldn't write anymore dear".
Childish but me and my sister found it amusing.
😂

I once got revenge on Vladimir Putin. My friends were trying to set up a cafe business in Russia and had to jump through all sorts of hoops. Their homes were to be inspected for hygiene even though it was business premises. Putin was proven to be directly involved in making them pay extra and it was a real worry.
I was staying with them at their apartment when Vlad himself turned up to meet them to discuss, it was all very strange and intimidating. He turned them down and they lost their money which they invested, but whilst he was in their flat I went into his limo and hid frozen prawns in between the seats where the seatbelt clip in.
I never did get to find out if my revenge worked because I woke up and it had all been a dream. Gutted actually.

The best one I heard of was a friend of mine who moved out of her boyfriend's home when she found he was cheating on her.
She went to the supermarket and bought a load of prawns and mussels and a couple of pints of milk.
After blending it all together, she carefully lifted the corners of the carpets of each room and poured the mixture between the floorboards, then replaced the carpets back.

To say the whole house stank is an understatement and of course, he couldn't locate the source of the stink 😂

BitOutOfPractice · 15/02/2019 09:53

I lived well and was happy. The end

PinkDaydreams · 15/02/2019 09:54

It was well known among the work team that our boss had a real problem with me and was picking on me. He really upset me one day (made me lift heavy boxes whilst I was pregnant, refused to help me lift them when I asked, I also suffer with sciatica which he knew about) so when I went for a wee, I dipped his interdental brushes in my wee and put them back for him to use. I’ve never done anything like that before but it felt so good!! Grin
