To ask how you get human poo on a kitchen floor?

I'm a self employed cleaner. A few months back I took on a new client (about 73 yrs old) who wasn't the cleanest but I've got her almost shipshape, except her toilet which is always dirty. I noticed what looked like trodden in poo on her kitchen floor and when I went to clean it, it was. I was nearly sick. She doesn't have any animals or visitors with animals (I asked her) How the hell do you get human poo on a kitchen floor?!

You probably really embarrassed her. Just because she doesn't appear frail doesn't mean she doesn't have accidents.

She could've pulled up her pants on the loo without being fully cleaned ( unable to reach her arm around well?) and it's tracked down her trouser leg.
Very sad, poor lady, I imagine she would be mortified.

She could have any of a number of medical conditions. She may appear to you to be the opposite of a frail old lady, but that doesn’t mean she’s in completely good health. Don’t judge her. It could be you or one of your family one day. Imagine how you’d feel if your medical condition was being discussed on an online forum.

My son often has accidents on the bathroom floor, if it's ingrained use a scrubbing brush? Our bathroom floor is tiled (smooth) so easy to clean up.

I didn't ask her about the poo, I'm not that rude. I simply asked if she'd had any visitors when she said her son I asked if he was a dog lover, he hates them apparently.

She's probably having accidents. I know a man who has terrible trouble with his bowels after he had an illness, he has accidents quite a lot as a side effect, and he will for the rest of his life. Perhaps next time don't ask her in such a rude way, if it is hers then I'm sure it's pretty embarrassing for her.

There are gastrointestinal diseases like ulcerative colitis and crohn's disease that cause fecal incontinence. Patients can't hold it for more than a few seconds and often don't make it to the toilet.

Very common with the elderly if they are slow moving and don't have good eyesight. Try not to judge, one day it may be you.

Tis gross, but entirely possible as above. I one had a manager who pood on the floor of the staff toilet. Neat thing, just in front of the loo. Only the two of us on duty at the time. It must have been her. I don’t know why she left it not cleaned up. V strange woman...

Unfortunately I can answer this one from personal experience with elderly family members. If you're a bit slow and don't get to the toilet quite in time, à bit can land on the floor. Then you don't notice (because it's a bit dark, or your eyesight isn't as good as it was), and you tread it out as you leave.
