you dont get them here in france so its not an issue, you park where you can and walk my kids and I are doing just fine dispite having to walk or be carried an extra 20-30 metres

I just park in one of the M&T spaces and send the kids in to get my fags

I think we're all missing the point here guys. Bollocks to the farking parking spaces. Why the hell is it so flipping far from the supermarket to the bloody bus stop? They should bulldoze car-parks and put bus stations there instead. Much better

And to be fair...they say "for parents of young children"...they don't actually say that you have to have the kids with you

I thought we'd settled this one, with M&B spaces doubling up as doggers spaces...ie if you DO use M&B spaces sans kids, you have to indulge in a bit of dogging to compensate. Unfair but interesting. IMVHO.

Oh I really couldn't care less who parks in the sodding spaces. This topic is just about the only reason for having AIBU - good reason to have it abolished.

If you need extra room at the side, park at the back of the car park and walk.

cant believe this has been started!
basically, i think the general mn feeling is this.
its a privilege and not a right.
dont farkin moan.
just dent peoples cars if you need to!

Absolutely!! Makes me Although - I do have to admit, I did use the P&C spaces once or twice when I was v.heavily PG and didn't have any sproglets in the car .... what do people think to that?? Was I wrong??

definitely NOT unreasonable.
i get SO irritated when i see people sans children in those spots.

I simply refuse to believe that there is yet another thread about M&B spaces on here.

I think there should be a self imposed ban like the one we have with SWMNBN

if it's a mother and baby parking space, do fathers and children have to park elsewhere, say near the pub or golf course?

I don't care who parks in the m&b spaces. At our local Tesco's the car park is really big so if you drive to the spaces that are furthest from the store you get loads of room to get the dcs out as you can park between 2 empty spaces. I have never understood why a parent needs spaces nearer the store entrance more than anyone else.
