To have serious hair envy and want to ask this woman how she does it

(lighthearted!)

There's a woman at work that attends the same meeting as me and I often find myself staring at her hair. It's so beautiful - she has soft, shiny, defined curls and I have serious hair envy.
(rests chin on cupped hands and sighs longingly)
My hair, on the other hand, seems to have adopted Hermione Granger as its spirit animal since I had DS and gone are the lustrous locks of pregnancy (sob!) Sad

I know it's EU to ask her how she gets her hair to look so pretty, but I sometimes daydream about it....

I used to have gorgeous hair. People would stop me in the aisle at Asda and ask me what shampoo I used. I loved it.

Now it looks like a hay stack thanks to post pregnancy hairloss but I will always have the memories...

I wouldn't ask her Op now that you've said she isn't that friendly. Seems little point anyway as you probably wouldn't be able to get the same effect as you both have different hair.

Cockney rhyming slang is so fun.

It might be naturally gorgeous OP. People often comment on my nails, I'm lucky as they grow fast and are a good shape and when painted they look great. Shame the rest of me doesn't Hmm

Ask her, I have my own beauty salon and I love when people ask me what I use on my skin what makeup I'm wearing. I love woman complimenting each other!

I'd love to ask her but any previous attempts at friendly conversation have been met with cold stares.

Curly hair is a PITA. I've just had mine Brazilianed because I was sick of the upkeep.

Syrup??? Eh???

I have naturally blonde hair. Sounds good so far, right? Meanwhile, I swear that there are only three hairs and they are cat hair, not human hair. I suffer from hair envy all the damn time. It's totally a thing. ASK HER.

Um....Is this me Smile I have long dark curly hair. If her hair is natural curls like mine, then she probably is sick of it. It involves daily washing (or once every other day if I wear it in a ponytail). Posh shampoos and hair serums, no hairdryer, so it's timely to let it dry naturally. Plus rain/wind are the enemy. I envy women with 'swooshy' straight hair. Occasionally I battle with hair straighteners and have mine straight for a couple of days which is a bit of a novelty!

Ask her. I've wished I had asked people how they got their hair a certain colour or styled it a particular way but I darent in case they think I'm a nutter.
I pushed myself the other day at work. A girl I work with has long dark hair and had got it beautifully curled and up in a ponytail. I almost choked complimenting her haha.

Ask her. Unless she is a complete weirdo she will be flattered.

I would ask her. It would be paying her a compliment to.
I'm sure she won't mind op.
