Why?

ThePinkOcelot · 22/06/2017 20:56

Link?

ChaChaChaCh4nges · 22/06/2017 20:56

It's not very flattering, is it?

PastysPrincess · 22/06/2017 20:57

I think it's lovely.

LardLizard · 22/06/2017 20:57

It's even Lacey as well 😵

It's a bit "cruise ship singer" but its not white or bridal looking, I've seen worse.

EllaHen · 22/06/2017 20:57

My mil wore a silver dress to the evening part of our wedding. Totally fine.

BewtySkoolDropowt · 22/06/2017 20:57

It's a lovely dress, but yes op, possibly a bit pale and long to wear to your son's wedding.

Brazenhussy0 · 22/06/2017 20:57

I'm not seeing the problem here Confused

MorrisZapp · 22/06/2017 20:58

Not my thing but I'd have thought it's pretty ideal for a wedding. What's the beef?

Llamacorn · 22/06/2017 20:58

Um, I don't get what's wrong with it?

AnnieOH1 · 22/06/2017 20:58

Personally I think a lot would depend on where the wedding was taking place, when and what the theme was.

For a traditional church wedding absolutely not, but for a hotel with a modern theme, why the heck not?

lemonzest123 · 22/06/2017 20:59

It's beautiful 😍

AnyFucker · 22/06/2017 20:59

It's not too bad if you are Shirley Bassey

isseywithcats · 22/06/2017 20:59

the review says the wedding is in long island american weddings tend to be late afternoon evening dos, and i dont think theres anything wrong with it, she might be a young mom so say son twenties she might only be forties herself,

CaoNiMartacus · 22/06/2017 21:00

Am I missing something? It's gorgeous! Not all mothers of grooms are drab old women.

WellErrr · 22/06/2017 21:00

It looks like bloody wedding dress.

Of course it's completely unsuitable.

Patronsaintofglocks · 22/06/2017 21:00

Think you might just be a jealous hag

LardLizard · 22/06/2017 21:00

It's alright if you potentially want to look like the bride or a bridesmaid !

ThreeForAPound · 22/06/2017 21:00

Its horrid, but nothing wrong with it for a wedding particularly.

bonfireheart · 22/06/2017 21:00

It's lovely.

I suppose it depends on the theme/style of the wedding. It would look out of place in the local church hall with a chicken and chip basket, on the other hand if you are having your reception at an up market venue where guests would be expected to change into evening attire, it is perfectly acceptable.

ThreeForAPound · 22/06/2017 21:01

Its SILVER. Its not a wedding dress, clearly.

Waffles80 · 22/06/2017 21:02

Sounds like those judgey pants might be wedged so far up that it's making you quite cranky, OP.

The reviewer says the wedding was in Long Islabd; many American weddings are black tie. This is a lovely dress for such an event.
