To think my rabbit is haunted?

Ok lovely mnetters-mystery for you !
Attached pic is the stone rabbit that sits in my garden next to the pond. As you can see its fairly large(and heavy) yet at least once a week it turns around !!
Some background-i do have older teenage kids but they use our back door not the front where the rabbit is
It ALWAYS happens at night(hours of darkness)
We are at the end of a dead end street-theres my house, next door then the east coast mainline railway line-so no through traffic past the front of my house at all-oh and at the front of the house is a bike path not a road-so no cars either
My 2 next door neighbours-left side works nights at the local airport-we usually pass on our way out to work as they are coming in
My ndn to the right-a frail old lady who lives alone
So come on mnetters-is it haunted or is there something obvious im missing?

To think my rabbit is haunted?

Set up a camera!

I reckon he just gets bored looking the same direction all the time.

Or perhaps he goes out on nightly benders and forgets which direction he is supposed to face?

I reckon he is norty not haunted.

Thats the sort of thing I still do. I repainted one of my neighbours garden gnomes. It took her a few weeks to notice he had lipstick.

He has a rather pretentious stance, doesn't he?

He thinks he is too good to stay in one position for perpetuity. You have a snobby bunny.

Teenagers. They will be pissing themselves laughing if they hear you talk about it being haunted

I though you were going to be talking about a vibrator. What a different thread I was expecting! 😂

If there's a bike path surely plenty of people have the opportunity to play a prank?

My db used to turn the ornaments around on the mantle piece to freak our mum out. She genuinely thought we had a poltergeist. I'd lay money on it being the teens playing with your mind.

Teenagers!

Or, someone casing your house. But more likely the teenagers!

I thought this was going to be some Bright Eyes type affair.

Lol some brilliant answers here ! I think the kids are the most likely culprits-although it normally takes a crane to get them out of bed once they are in there so would be suprised if it was them !!djbaggy -thats hilarious !!!Grin

I was hoping for an actual pet rabbit that spoke in a demonic fashion!

"Get me the carrots bitch"

Kind of thing.

Yes there is a bike path-but it finishes down the street bcause of the trainline so there is nothing in front of my house -its a complete dead end

Vibration from the train line slowly turning it? Wasn't there an exhibit in the British museum that did the same?

Mrs Grin you have just made me crack a smile for the first time today. Quite an achievement. My face hurts now though.

Mrs Grin
The trainline thing is interesting-but when we notice it it has gone from facing right to left over night-so surely if it was the trains it would be more gradual or every night?

He does, waitforitfdear. I reckon he speaks RP English and has a butler in the shrubbery. He is well posh, he is.

We walked home from school a different way yesterday to get some shade in the woods. We passed a cottage, and my daughter pointed to a little slate "shelf" above one of those bricks with an air vent in it. Ever since I have fantasising about nipping up their and super glueing a tiny ornament on. There's just room for 2or3 whimsies ( anyone remember those? ).

Maybe you have a neighbour like me op.
