I know people may think I am being a killjoy and/or a bit paranoid
but in the 21st century when we are all so aware about personal hygeine and public health, why is it OK for people to kiss and slobber over things and spread their germs? We have just come back from a long weekend in Ireland (republic) and along with the usual souvenirs dh has brought home a crop of coldsores which has resulted in ds2 (3yo) having his first ever coldsore
I am pretty sure it was \link{http://www.blarneycastle.ie/pages/kiss-the-blarney-stone\this} which caused the coldsores. I do not get them and dh does not kiss anyone on the lips except for me and our dc.
tbh it has got me thinking about other communal slobbering, like communion cups, and I think it is really weird that in an age where people carry alcohol gel to sanitise their hands it is still deemed OK to do this kind of thing. AIBU?
AIBU?
to thinks lots of random people KISSING something is fucking revolting and should be banned?
