So after years and years of drinking far too much, I'm now one month sober.

I've been absolutely devouring books, but need recommendations for my next one please.

I've read, "The Naked Mind" which I enjoyed (love her podcasts! And Janey Lee Grace) but I may need to read this again as I read it before I stopped drinking so probably didn't take it all in.

Since being sober I've read Laura Mckeown's "We are the luckiest" - highly recommended, fabulous book.

The Sober Diaries (wonderful).

And my absolute favourite (life-changing, to be honest)... The Unexpected Joy of Being Sober.

I'm currently reading Claire Pooley's debut novel (fiction), "The Authenticity Project" which I'm a little bit disappointed with so far.

What else could I order today? What is a 'must read' for our new way of life?

Thanks in advance

Thank you, both - will take a look today.

I think I've heard 'Girl Walks Out of a Bar' mentioned on the podcasts I listen to.

One thing I could never do when drinking was read - I simply couldn't take it in, or if I did manage a few pages I wouldn't retain it in memory.

I really look forward to my book and cup of tea now, when kids are in bed! :-)
