Annoying Binge drinking husband

Anyone else got a husband that drinks too much where is just petty and annoying?

He does it about two/three times a week. A few bottles of wine, some ciders, maybe some gin then starts smoking. I don’t even get a chance to have any of the drinks bought as he’s drank them by the time I fancy a g&t.

I wouldn’t say he’s an alcoholic - he just doesn’t know when to stop. We’ll be having a nice few glasses of vino together and when I’ve had one he’s had the entire bottle. It’s just annoying more than anything..

He makes out I’m just being picky. I just worry about his health - his weight - and it’s not enjoyable.

He’s really loud, grabby, and stumbles round.

Anyone got any advice?

I am in the same boat as you but my husband drinks about 5-6 days a week, not always drunk but there are occasions where he gets drunk and it’s beginning to have a huge effect on our marriage and how I feel about him. I don’t have any advice myself but you’re not alone!
