Wearable hot water bottle belt

Flockameanie · 23/01/2023 19:43

Ive hurt my back, heat really helps with the pain and am currently stuffing a hot water bottle down the back of my trousers!

can anyone recommend one of those hot water bottle belt things? All of the ones on Amazon get really mixed reviews, even the ‘mumsnet recommended’ Yuyu one. Main requirements are that it’s comfortable to wear on my lower back while sitting in an office chair, stays warm and stays on even moving around.

Thanks!

I've got one that seems to work pretty well. It was a (v thoughtful actually) present from DH. I've just asked where it was from and he's shame facedly admitted he found it in the local cheapy discount shop 😁 Much cheaper than Amazon apparently!

Thanks. Should add that I want a hot water bottle one, not a microwaveable heat bag type one (as I find those lose their heat really quickly)

@CasinoRoyale do you find it keeps its heat for a good length of time? Amazon reviews say that it gets cold after an hour or so…

@Flockameanie i do refill it every hour and a half during the day when working as I hate the cold! I still love it though.

I have the WUKA one and I like it. Altho I often take it off before it has cooled down because I have warmed up enough!

This is exactly the same as the Amazon one as I ordered both! The company say it isn't, but it really is the same one.

Buy the Amazon one, it's cheaper.

I did buy a cheap Amazon one that arrived today. The actual water bottle that came with it looks a bit dodgy, but I can squeeze my own regular one into it. This is the one I got Hot Water Bottle with Waist Cover, Fluffy Hot Water Bottle Pouch with Soft Belt, Furry Wrap Around Wearable Hot Water Bottle, Grey Warm Water Bag for Period, Neck, Back, Shoulder Pain Relief amzn.eu/d/fdj85Ob?tag=mumsnet&ascsubtag=mnforum-21
