Air fryer recommendations?

For a family of 4, not too bothered about fancy gadgets, im not a baker, would ideally like to fit a whole medium chicken in there but doesn’t need to be rotisserie.
Lots on Amazon but as an air fryer virgin the amount of different brands and models is hurting my head

The ninja dual is perfect, there are five of us and we can cook a meal in one.

We have recently bought the Ninja Foodi AF400UK 9.5L Dual-Zone Air Fryer, currently £199 at John Lewis.

Thank you, sounds like the ninja is the way forward!
have you all had yours for a while? (Lots of reviews I’ve read on other air fryers have mentioned breakdown after a few months, wondering whether it’s worth buying 3 year insurance with it)

Can also recommend ninja AF400 dual. Had it over a year and no issues, gets used about 3 times a week too

We bought the Ninja XL a few months back and it's brilliant. I now wish I'd gone for the dual version.

I got a cheap one from Costco- a 4.7l Gourmia that was about £45 to see if we'd use it.
We use it loads, I've roasted a medium chicken in there a couple of times (so succulent- like a rotisserie one!), cook burgers, sausages, duck breasts, reheat small amounts of food. It's great and we barely put the oven on now.
Must have nearly paid for itself in electricity savings!

Those of you that have the ninja dual with the max crispy function on, have you used that for frozen food, too scared to cook nuggets in there incase they burn?

I cook frozen chicken nuggets in our ninja and it handles them well.

We always use Max crisp for frozen things. Just set the timer a little less if you're worried about burning things but we've never had a problem
