Are there any conspiracy theories you actually believe?
AnxiousAngelina · 07/12/2021 07:28
Inspired by another thread. Come on even if they're mad ones... fess up.
I cant remember the details but I remember doing a bit of online research years ago and thinking it's not 100% impossible that Tupac faked his death!

the car can’t be seen with a telescope…….because of course it’s ‘round the other side’ of course!
Not sure where you heard that claim because it’s an odd one. All six Apollo landing sites are on the near side of the Moon, i.e. the side permanently facing the earth.
The actual reason the “cars” can’t be seen through a telescope is because no telescope on earth can resolve something that small at the distance of the Moon.
The three rogers have however been spotted in images taken from Lunar orbit by spacecraft such as the Lunar Reconnaissance Orbiter ….but of course as is inevitable when discussing this the problem is the conspiracy theorists all immediately jump on those images as being part of the conspiracy …

I don’t believe man landed on the moon….walked on it, drove a car on it, left a flag (and a car) on it. Then never went back…….rightio then
Oh and the car can’t be seen with a telescope…….because of course it’s ‘round the other side’ of course!

Our ancestors had pogroms and witch hunts because they believed stuff like "Jews are poisoning the wells" or "witches are killing people with curses." They managed that without social media. Just think what they could have achieved if they had been able to do "research" on YouTube.
Justonemoretouch · 09/12/2021 20:46
9/11 Also I don't believe Marilyn Monroe committed suicide.
Blooboi · 09/12/2021 20:34
Dr David Kelly I reckon was offed.
Epstein I'm not sure was , otherwise they would of also gone after ghislaine Maxwell too.
Diana almost certainly an accident. As some have already said , you wouldn't try and ram a car and also risk witnesses and Trevor Rees Jones the bodyguard is still alive.
Igotstoknow · 09/12/2021 20:25
Awkward if you actually did want a chest of drawers or whatever…
I thought that at the time, how many people ordered the 'Lucy wardrobe' and received a child called Lucy... surely it's too uncontrolled a way to sell trafficked people when the dark Web etc exist.
Trudij123 · 09/12/2021 19:45
I’m in the camp that Diana’s death, while sad - was very much an accident - brought on by her courting the press at every opportunity. they went after her and it all ended horribly.
Trudij123 · 09/12/2021 19:43
“ You would purchase an item of furniture with a specific name and instead of furniture you would get a child“
Awkward if you actually did want a chest of drawers or whatever…
thebitchisback1998 · 09/12/2021 19:36
I think Diana was killed, but I am not sure how they could have ensured she did. She wasn't a fool, she would have worn a seatbelt, and if she hadn't the bodyguard would have insisted on it. Fayed's driver would have surely been swaying if he was as drunk as they say he was. The bodyguard and Fayed's would have known if they had a drunk driver employed wouldn't they?
LookslovelyinSpringtime · 09/12/2021 19:24
Yes I agree

Fully believe JFK was accidentally shot by one of his own body guards and it has been covered up ever since. I’ve looked out of the the Dallas Book Dispensary- unless defying the laws of physics as well as being a fantastic marksman was a talent of Oswald’s.
Diana’s death was so clearly an accident, I cannot comprehend how people are still convinced otherwise. She didn’t wear a seatbelt, car crashed at speed. Not exactly shocking that death was the end result. She was never going to marry Dodi al Fayed, they’d been together 5 minutes, the RF would not have killed her off over moderate embarrassment at her flaunting her summer shag to the press.
I do think the petrol shortage in September was deliberately caused to sell off the E5 petrol. Petrol has a use by date and sales have been dramatically down since lockdown was first announced.
Karwomannghia · 09/12/2021 18:55
Lady Gaga and Amy obvs not the same person but I did notice they both talked about performing and singing being like a big orgasm for them and no point otherwise. Both do/did what they want.

The death of Tupac.
**@questionablemouse* @jacaranda75* the moon landing is hilarious. NASA uses CGI images of the earth and are funded billions of dollars each year for doing just that - insanity. If you’re into the moon landing you really should research flat earth, its interesting because one aspect of it it goes into how the moon is a plasma reflection of earth, there’s multiple pictures people have taken of the moon that show the “craters” zoomed in are literally to the finest detail, the same shape as countries on a flat earth map. What’s interesting is that the countries we know of only takes up a bottom quarter of the moons “craters”, there’s way more land than we know about past the Antarctic ring. A few people wrote about what they saw through the ice wall before the Antarctic treaty banned tourism and airplanes - only for the rich under extremely strict conditions. Anyway I could go on forever, incredible how so many things are linked to the earth being flat but, Eric Dubay is worth checking out on YouTube!
😮😳🙄🤷♀️ Errmm . . . . . okay then!

Epstein's death. So suspicious I barely think it counts as a conspiracy at this point.
I'm fairly convinced Covid was a lab leak, I don't think it was intentional, but lab leaks happen and the location is too coincidental. My MIL worked in virology for many years and had some horror stories about near misses with leaks that never became public - can entirely believe this was the same.
These are relatively mainstream and boring as conspiracy theories go though!
I think the difference between mainstream/believable theories and "are you feeling alright?" is interesting. Epstein's death being a murder makes sense in a top level way - if had did have access to a huge amount of damning info about influential people, it makes sense to get rid of him. Same with Covid - lab leaks do happen, the location makes it more likely, the lack of transparency we know the Chinese government displays makes it likely they'd cover it up. You can see the motivation for it.
But stuff like flat earth (or its hilarious cousin, hollow earth) - what's the motivation? What does us believing the opposite achieve?

I believe that the Government Scientist, who was challenging the ‘dodgy dossier’ on the illegal Iraqi war, Dr David Kelly was ‘neutralised’ by the UK state. The Official Line is that he committed suicide in the woods. By cutting his wrists and taking an overdose. Yet, the Paramedics who attended the scene innocently said that it was odd that they was very little blood at all, when there should have been pools of it on the ground beside him. His wrists were deeply cut, so the only explanation for that is that they were cut after death! There was no inquest, despite that always being the case for deaths in the circumstances of his. This despite repeated calls by a large group of well respected doctors and scientists over several years. I have a healthy cynicism about the ‘official line’ and the actions of those in power, but this happening in the UK really shocked and depressed me!

The lee Harvey Oswald 'impossible' thing isn't the pace of shooting one is it? That one's got whiskers on it
Mrssheppard18 · 09/12/2021 18:01
The books who killed Kurt Cobain and Love and Death by Ian Halperin, The Assassination of Marilyn Monroe by Donald Wolfe and The Murder of Princess Diana are really interesting
Igotstoknow · 09/12/2021 18:00
I read a CT about Katy Perry really being Jon Bennet ramsay and someone commenting mentioned April Levigne being replaced by a lookalike but I've never read anything about it specifically. What was it read made it really believable?
Mumontour85 · 09/12/2021 17:49
I was suckered into a thread about Avril Lavigne being dead and replaced by a lookalike! Hours of my life wasted... but it was super compelling and actually, really believable!!
Mrssheppard18 · 09/12/2021 17:45
I actually had this arrive in the post today
Mrssheppard18 · 09/12/2021 17:44
Marilyn Monroe was murdered
Kurt Cobain was murdered
Diana was murdered….
I can see a pattern emerging lol
