Hi guys, I'm looking at booking a little holiday for next year..I'm wondering which is the best holiday park to book? I've already been to primrose valley. Children will be 6,9,14.

i never found a good one if i'm honest! they are shabby and overpriced

WhoisRebecca · 16/08/2021 14:17

Wild Duck in Norfolk is lovely.

Bananarama21 · 16/08/2021 14:18

I thought Primrose Valley was pleasant enough. Not looking to going abroad until things have calmed down

Haggerston castle in Northumberland is nice. There's pony trekking , a boating lake and bike hire there. My kids were 12 and 5 when we went and they both had a lovely time.

HappyWipings thankyou I think I recall going there as a young child. Will check that out.

Devon Cliffs lovely big park with a gorgeous beach and lots of attractions locally too / day trips.

gogohm · 16/08/2021 14:22

Went 10 years ago to one in n Devon, kids loved it.

bubblebubblebubbletrouble · 16/08/2021 14:23

Does it have to be Haven? We have done caravan holidays for the last 5 years and my favourite park was Waterside in Weymouth but it wasn't Haven.

JenniferAllisonPhillipaSue · 16/08/2021 14:23

We really loved Devon Cliffs this summer - having the private beach was brilliant

Bananarama21 · 16/08/2021 14:24

bubblebubblebubbletrouble no not haven il check that out thankyou.

Weymouth bay is Haven and lovely but might not have enough for your older one.

L1ttleSeahorse · 16/08/2021 14:33

Weymouth itself has sealife centre etc though.

Bananarama21 · 16/08/2021 18:56

The only one I've ever thought to be ok is Perran sands in Cornwall.

Cheeseandlobster · 16/08/2021 19:26

Lydstep Haven in Tenby is amazing!

QuestionableMouse · 16/08/2021 19:27

Seton Sands near Edinburgh is nice, though on the quieter side imo. Been a few times.

Parents did Blue Dolphin and I thought it was a bit grubby.

Brollypackedforscottishholiday · 16/08/2021 19:27

Craig Tara. Been 3 times..

Figgygal · 16/08/2021 19:28

We really enjoyed Rockley Park near Poole when we went
It’s the only haven I’ve been to though so not sure how it compares to others
If you consider not haven Woolacombe Bay has three separate parks and is supposed to be fabulous

Onebabyandamadcat · 16/08/2021 19:35

The one in the lakes is small but nice. We spent ten days at golden sands in Lincolnshire this summer. It had loads on and was really clean/didn't feel too crowded

CustardGoodJamGoodMeatGood · 16/08/2021 19:37

We've got Marton Mere booked, we went last year and it was really clean, all the staff were friendly and there's a direct bus from the park to Blackpool beach so nice and easy for days out. Not far from the zoo either

L1ttleSeahorse · 16/08/2021 19:40

Rockley Park is lovely but please dont swim there.

Daydrambeliever · 16/08/2021 19:45

Haggerston Castle wasn't great when we went. I got food poisoning and the all the kids area smelled of damp and dirt. I need a shower just thinking about it.

soupey1 · 16/08/2021 19:46

Thorpe Park, Cleethorpes is an ok park and there is lots to do locally.

imaginethemdragons · 16/08/2021 19:50
