What are the best frying pans to buy?

Ikea 365 one here. I like a frying pan that I can put in the oven.

It’s a good weight. The non stick doesn’t last for more than a couple of years ( heavy use- metal utensils...) but they aren’t too expensive.

After spending a great deal of money on expensive non stick frying pans down the years I concluded that they don’t work significantly better than, or last significantly longer than cheap ones. So now I buy cheapo ‘Alesto’ pans from Lidl and replace them when they stop being non-stick.

ive got a tefal one that must be 15 years old now and still going strong all the non stick still there it wasnt cheap at the time but have so had my moneys worth out of it

Hi are the oxo frying pans easy to clean on the outside, the pans I have have gone brown but if i use a scourer it takes the finish off

Another vote for the scoville never stick! They're brilliant and have the whole set now including saucepans, griddle, wok and various frying pans.

I bought an expensive one as I was fed up with non-stick so got a metal one . It's great, doesn't stick and should last forever.

I've been using this one for about 5 years and it lived in a shared house and was abused for one of them. It's starting to lose its non-stick now but that seems fair enough as it has had a Lot of use. The one which never lived in a shared house is still fine.

Scoville Neverstick pans are amazing. I got a set in the sales a couple of years ago and they’re still really good and are showing no signs of losing their non-stick.

I have just had to replace my omelette pan, and I found one on the Dunelm website called Scoville Neverstick. The reviews were glowing so I ordered it. Have only used it a few times, but so far so good. Very reasonably priced as well, £15 IIRC.

Cheap (ish)! ones from Tesco. When they get knackered replace. We have a smaller one which was about £13 and a bigger one that was about £18. In fairness they seem to have lasted 5 yrs or so and counting. They lasted better than the posh le creuset one!

I like my Tefal ingenio pans with the removable handles. Just added the wok to my small collection.
I don’t put them in the dishwasher but that’s my preference.

I got a cheapo asda ceramic frying pan and have to say, it's brilliant! So easy to clean!

This is amazing. I’m going to buy a couple of sizes when I have extra money. They can even go into the oven. I had bought a Tefal one and it’s useless. It loses heat so quickly as soon as you put food in it and it never comes back to temperature. The oxo softworks one is amazing and can even go in the dishwasher.
