Beauty box subscriptions..

Have been looking into beauty box monthly subscriptions, wondering if any MN's have previously or are currently subscribed to any.. if so which one? What pros are the pros and cons,

Got the sub for DD for Christmas, it's brilliant. 8 or 9 full sized goodies every month in a lovely box. Really good stuff as well, not random shite they can't get rid of!

I have a few subscriptions i used to get quite alot then cancelled them as i just didn't use the stuff. I find glossybox recently has been the best. Look at unboxings on YouTube before you subscribe to any box as it will give you an idea of what things are included.

I subscribe to Glossybox and Birchbox. Dd has a pink parcel too. Glossy is fantastic at the moment. Last month had a full size sleep cream worth £98 That is amazing. If you want to try any of these let me know as I have some referral codes.

I used to subscribe to Birchbox, I have a box full of shite I never used so I canceled it. I heard Glossybox is good but I am done trying them!

I get a Birchbox and I love it. It’s a little treat for myself. Sometimes I get stuff I don’t use which is always the chance you take but I’ve also had some great bits. A few benefit items and the full size highlighter I got last month was brill.

Glossybox here. Had it for 4 months and enjoyed it so far. Would be good if anyone wanted my referral code - I think we both get a discount that way!
Birchbox was shite, really poor quality for the money and the 6 months I had it.

I have glossy, but I'm going to cancel soon, simply because I have loads of stuff.
I'll then probably rejoin at Xmas.
I had Birchbox and loved it at first but went off it, so cancelled.
I'm going to have a look at this look fantastic though, I'm a sucker for a monthly treat!!

I used to get Glossybox until I realized the star item every month frequently made its way into all the boxes for YouTube vloggers and bloggers, and never into mine. Regular subscribers were subsidizing boxes for people who probably didn't even pay for theirs. Maybe it has changed since, but I found it very irritating.

I’ve just started a subscription for Birchbox after doing a mn product test. I like it so far and it has helped me try new things and give my makeup a bit of a overhaul. Happy to share my referral code you get £5 off your first box.
My dd happily takes anything I don’t want.

I had glossybox first and found it was good some months and terrible a lot of the time.
Just cancelled my Birchbox subscription after getting it for a year. I liked it but found it was a bit repetitive and ended up finding some good products through it but mostly crap.
Going to try look fantastic this year, have heard good things.

I had lookfantastic last year and on the whole reckon it was worth the £13pm although after about 10 months I had a drawer full of bits and bobs and needed to take a break from it, there is some overlap.

I have glossybox and latest in beauty at the moment. Will cancel both soon as I have loads to use up, but both are good. Worth looking at LIB as you get to choose from around 30 products a month.

I loved glossy box and had it for a while after dropping my Birchbox subscription. Bb just seemed a lot of the same and a lot id never use. Glossybox was great value in my opinion and felt amazing but I just don't use enough products to justify it

I have glossybox and look fantastic and love both. I occasionally buy birchbox one offs when there is a decent discount but I wouldn't sign up for a monthly BB as it is mainly sample sizes. I really have far too many products but I love my boxes 💕

AIBU to ask how much you each spend on these boxes.
I may subscribe to the 3 of them for 3 months on the lowest cost pm to see how I feel about them and then decide which one best suits me .

I spend £10 plus postage on Glossybox - I think it's £13/month on a month to month contract. I prefer it that way so I can cancel anytime. There are cheaper options with more of a tie in.
