Gifts for a man who never leaves the house......

Literally never. Mid 60s.
No 'tat'/anything that could be seen as clutter,
Not clothes he has loads,
Not alcohol he doesn't drink,
Not kitchen anything because they have it all,
Not toiletries because I'm starting to look unimaginative....
Fuck me it's impossible! 🤣
Hobbies include watching sports and dramas on TV, and cooking (cook book would offend).
Please help!

I'm not sure anything cooking wise would go down too well, he's too particular about that. The wildlife idea is a very good shout though, I think I'll go that route, thankyou all 🙂
Feel free to think up more ideas though, there's plenty more occasions to gift for 🤦🏻♀️

I've just bought my 40 year old brother a Soda Stream, mostly as we were never allowed one growing up but secondly they are fantastic for creating sparkling water without the plastic waste.

My first thought was slippers, but then seeing some of the suggestions sparked an idea of something we used to do for a grandparent - annual subscription to National Geographic.

Does he have a garden?
How about an online gardening course ?
I did a fab one earlier in the year with www.inbloomandco.com
If not what about some nice new utensils for cooking? A posh masher or something that you'd never buy yourself but makes life easier ! Xx

I read in the paper at the weekend that swifts need some TLC apparently and we should all be getting swift boxes (different shape box and hole size to usual boxes), so that could be an idea. I’m going to get them for a couple of birthdays next year.

My sister gets my dad a subscription to The Oldie magazine every year (although he is in his 80s).

Is he somewhat crafty? Maybe a paint by numbers or a fun software like a photo collage creator could work? Also kitchen gadgets? I've heard that air fryer is a game changer so maybe he'd like getting something like that? Or a personalized apron? Etsy has plenty of those- www.etsy.com/market/personalized_apron_for_men

A copy of the Swedish Death Cleaning book and an agreement to stop buying presents?
Thewolvesarerunningagain · 09/12/2021 16:18
A really good reading lamp. Was my most appreciated gift to my DH who is an absolute arse to buy for.
